Nestled in the heart of Iquitos, Golden Star proved to be a sanctuary for families seeking a tranquil retreat amidst the city bustle. Our stay was a delightful blend of comfort and cultural immersion. Despite a brief hiccup with the network, the staff's assistance in navigating the situation was commendable. The unexpected highlight for our kids was undoubtedly the peculiar yet charming swimming pool on the second floor – a unique novelty that added a touch of whimsy to our stay.Surprisingly tranquil, the hotel shielded us from the clamor of the streets, offering peaceful respite after our daily explorations. The reliable WiFi was a boon, allowing us to stay connected while unwinding in our spacious, air-conditioned room. Each morning greeted us with a diverse breakfast spread, a perfect prelude to our family adventures. And, as a coffee enthusiast, I must say – their brew was a delightful perk worth savoring.
